Here’s Why Jalsa Child Artist Surya Kasibhatla is Winning Hearts

Amazon film ‘Jalsa’ has captivated audiences with its gripping storyline and praiseworthy performances by two female actors Vidya Balan and Shefali Shah.

The content of the film is different unlike the ones we often watch on OTT platforms. ‘Jalsa’ was indeed like a breath of fresh air and promises to keep you hooked till the last.

The film follows the life of an established journalist Maya Menon played by Vidya Balan, her cook Rukhsana played by Shefali Shah, and how an unfortunate incident changes their lives forever.

Besides their stellar performance, there is one more actor who has won people’s hearts and that is Maya Menon’s son Ayush played by Surya Kasibhatla.

Ayush has Cerebral Palsy in the film and the actor suffers from the same disability in real life. The disability however didn’t prevent him from giving one of his best performances that was engaging as well as natural.

His close bond and comfort level with Rukshana has been depicted beautifully in the film.

Surya is not a trained actor however his acting skills and timing was spot on!

Stars on set were stunned at how comfortable he was in front of the camera despite facing it for the first time.

Director of Jalsa Suresh Triveni said that right after meeting Surya he immediately knew who would fit the character of Ayush. The director describes him as an intelligent and incredible actor who never gave up.

The 14-year-old actor hails from Texas and is an Indian by origin.

Speaking about his experience while working in the film Surya said, “I had a lot of fun working on this film and on the set. I just had a blast working with the team. Thank you for watching the video and see you in the movie.”

The two prime stars of the film have a lot of good things to say about the little star in this Amazon behind-the-scenes video.
