Hype and Buzz around ‘Pathaan’ Increases before Its Release on January 25

The buzz and hype surrounding the upcoming movie ‘Pathaan’ is at an all time high despite the initial controversies surrounding it. 

There are high expectations from this action thriller film. The trailer of the movie has performed successfully as well as its songs. 

With just six days remaining the movie is all set to release on January 25. 

According to a report in India Today the advance bookings in Germany for this flick have skyrocketed while advance bookings in India are yet to begin. This is a good start for the film. 

In Mumbai Gaiety Galaxy has announced that there will be a 9 am screening for this movie on the first day. This has never happened for any other star thus creating history. 

Shah Rukh Khan will be making a comeback after a long hiatus. His five year long break from movies and his return has worked in favour of ‘Pathaan’ as fans are curious to see how King Khan will perform after years. Will he still reign on the silver screen like before ? 

Though it is early to declare, some trade pundits feel that ‘Pathaan’ will be the first blockbuster of 2023. 

After all the controversies it will be interesting to witness how the movie pans out. When the song ‘Besharam Rang’ was released not one but many Hindu organisations took offence at the saffron colour of Deepika Padukone’s attire. The song was filmed in exotic locations in Spain. People even objected to some of the scenes in the song. 

Shah Rukh Khan for his part supported his colleague and said that only someone like Deepika can pull off a song like ‘Besharam Rang.’ The actor was also all praise for co-actor John Abraham for playing the “bad guy” in the film. 

"Takes a lot of confidence in your own self, especially when I see in the Hindi film scenario. Heroes don't play bad guys. I'd love to play a bad guy. I gained deep respect for him," said SRK.
