IME’19 to Host Mining & Metals Delegates from US, Russia, China, Australia, Germany

High-level trade delegations from the US, Australia, China, Germany, Poland, Russia and the Czech Republic will come to Kolkata to participate at the 8th International Mining, Equipment, Minerals & Metals Exhibition & Congress.


The State-run coal behemoth, Coal India to take lead at the 8th International Mining, Equipment, Minerals & Metals Exhibition & Congress during Nov. 6 – 8,  2019 at the Eco Park, Rajarhat, Kolkata.


Organized under the patronage of “Mining, Geological & Metallurgical Institute of India” (MGMI) & Coal India,  the exhibition will have over 350 exhibitors, 600 delegates with the participation of over 25 countries. It is expected to attract over 10,000 trade visitors from all over the world. The event is supported by Ministries of Coal, Mines, Steel, Power, Heavy Industries, External Affairs, Government of India and Coal India Ltd.


IME 2019 will focus on an unprecedented display of mining, minerals, machinery and metallurgical latest technologies and their innovative applications, research & development, logistics, safety & health aspects of the mining and allied industry.


There will also be a high-level trade delegation from US, Australia, China, Germany, Poland, Russia and the Czech Republic. IP Wadhwa, Managing Worker of Tafcon, one of the Organizers of the Exhibition., said, while announcing the event, that one of the bright spots in the mining industry scenario is the fact that an increasing number of Indian companies are venturing overseas to secure stable, long term supplies of minerals like coal and iron ore.


Anil Kumar Jha, President MGMI, on his parts, said that the large-scale Exhibition & Congress will have the participation of leading mining equipment and machinery manufacturers from across the world. The event certainly promises to be an ideal platform for displaying and launching new initiatives in the mining sector, as well as showcasing products and technologies, establishing JVs, developing and renewing international and regional contacts, he said.


The event is designed to provide business opportunities to the stakeholders of the mining and allied industry, to showcase their technologies, new initiatives, products and services. That’s not all. If things move the way it has been envisaged, it will also be a unique platform for entrepreneurs, decision-makers, bureaucrats, investors, industry leaders, equipment suppliers, miners, engineers and other business and trade delegates to congregate, brainstorm, showcase and forge meaningful partnerships.
