Is Brad Pitt Mad with Maddox for Speaking out?

Last month Angelina and Maddox were seen at Yonsei University in South Korea. Angelina was seen crying as she left her teenage son for higher studies. The oldest child of the Angelina-Pitt brood had chosen to study Biochemistry at the University and they were also seen touring the campus. 

In a recent interview obtained by In Touch Weekly, a paparazzi was seen asking Maddox if his siblings were happy he joined the University, and he replied, "Yeah, I think so." He also spoke about the adjustments he had to make and how he was getting used to sleeping in a dorm.

However, when asked by the paparazzi if his father would come and see him, Maddox was not sure if he would drop in to see him. He said, "I don't know about that, what's happening." When further questioned about his relationship status with his father, he added, "whatever happens happens."

Maddox’s response did not reveal much. It, however, shows that the relationship is still strained between the father and the son. 

Maddox and Brad Pitt had an altercation in 2016 in a family flight where it was alleged that Brad Pitt and Angelina got into an argument just after the flight had taken off. Apparently, Maddox came in between them to defend his mother. He was verbally taking up for his mother which infuriated Pitt and he lunged at Maddox. This incident led Angelina Jolie to file for divorce. Things got murky during that period and Pitt had denied all allegations made against him. Since then Maddox was living only with Angelina Jolie and has grown more close to her. The relationship between Maddox and Pitt has deteriorated since then. However, they had patched up after the incident but the crack has remained. There were reports that they had patched up but the relationship seems to be scarred with bad memories.

It has been revealed that Maddox doesn’t consider himself as being Brad’s son. However, Jolie has encouraged him to have a fresh start with his father. But whether things are right between them is yet to be seen. However, by the looks of it, things are not yet right between them because when Maddox joined the University, only Jolie was with him and Brad was nowhere around. Apparently, he was not invited. It is also believed that the Ad Astra star was not part of Maddox’s School decisions and that he got to know about the University plans just before it was reported in the media.

On the other hand, Brad Pitt doesn’t seem to be heckled by his son’s interview. He is busy in Japan. He was seen smiling and walking at Narita International airport. He was enjoying himself signing autographs and waving at the crowd. He looked great in a black jacket, white long-sleeved T-shirt and black pants. The black leather bag sling on his shoulder added to his happy-go-lucky style. There were no signs of stress on his face. He seemed unaffected by his oldest son’s soundbytes. It is left to be seen if he will go to meet his son who is very close to where he landed. 

On the other hand, there are rumors doing the rounds that the Fight Club actor was getting back to his old flame and ex-wife, Jennifer Aniston. Both of them had been married fourteen years ago, they divorced each other and married other people. Now, however, they are single again and people are hoping they get back together.

Let us wait and watch if the fatherly instincts kick in and the Once upon a Time in Hollywood star will take a detour to South Korea and meet his son, Maddox
