Jacqueline Fernandez Chosen as One of The Honourees of the ‘Women in Cinema’ Initiative at Cannes Film Festival
Jacqueline Fernandez gets recognised as one of the honourees of the ‘Women in Cinema’ initiative, supported by the Red Sea Film Foundation, while newcomer Nitanshi Goel makes debut at the iconic Cannes Film Festival.
With their charisma and glamour, Indian stars are making a strong impression at the 78th Cannes Film Festival once again. Jacqueline Fernandez has made a significant impact by her glamorous presence at the French Riviera. She is one of the honourees of the ‘Women in Cinema’ initiative alongside Sarah Taibah, Elham Ali, Amina Khalil, Engfa Waraha, Gaya Jiji, and Rungano Nyoni.
The star was captured in a white shirt and matching bottom- an ensemble designed by Anamika Khanna. Over the shirt, she wore a corset embellished with mirror work, sequins, and traditional motifs. It added an extra touch of glamour to her outfit.

Nitanshi Goel of Laapataa Ladies fame was among the newcomers at the Cannes Film Festival. For the red carpet, she wore a black strapless structured gown featuring gold-toned intricate patterns, a slightly voluminous tulle skirt, and a small lacy train. She attended the trailer launch of the film Dossier 137 on May 15.
