Jemimah & Shafali Light Up Two Much with Charm and Candid Victories

Jemimah Rodrigues and Shafali Verma were the refreshing new faces on Kajol Devgan and Twinkle Khanna’s talk show Two Much.

Jemimah looked radiant in a floral dress, while Shafali Verma looked elegant in a blue top paired with trousers.

The girls spoke in detail about their historic win.

“It’s a dream not just for us, but for every single Indian out there, and we are so happy that we could do it. We had also spoken about this — that this World Cup was not just for us, but also for the generations before us who laid the foundation so we could play cricket today. So, I think this is everyone’s cup,” said Jemimah Rodrigues.

Growing up, the girls navigated countless challenges as they learned to play the game they loved. Through every struggle and every small victory, it wasn’t just their fathers who stood by them — their mothers, too, played an equally powerful role.

We also got a glimpse of their distinct personalities as they spoke on a variety of topics such as cinema, fashion, sports, music, family, food, their personal lives, and their likes and dislikes.

Kajol steered the discussion with finesse, posing thoughtful questions that drew out heartfelt stories and moments of laughter.

Twinkle led the conversation towards cricket and cinema, and how the two are interconnected in many ways.

Shafali shared that she watches Dangal to feel inspired. Being from Haryana, she said the events in the film mirror her own life in numerous ways.

A big thanks to you all ki aap log itni acchi movies banate hain. Hum dekh kar entertain ho jaate hain (A big thanks to you all because you make such good movies. We see them and feel entertained.)

They revealed that watching movies as a group is their ultimate stress reliever. As for food, Shafali can’t resist Chhole Bhature, whereas Jemimah swears by Chicken Wings and Nutella Pancakes.

Overall, the episode was truly entertaining. It was heartwarming to get to know the young women behind India’s historic World Cup victory a little better — their grit, their charm, and the stories that shape their remarkable journeys.

As Twinkle Khanna aptly put it, “You are changing not just cricketing history, but the narrative of our country.
