Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux Split – Its official now

Hollywood couple Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux are now separated after two years of their marriage, though there were speculation since last year that they are not together, but it is official now with the release of statement by Jennifer Aniston about their separation on 15th February 2018, a day after the Valentine’s Day.

A joint statement was released by Aniston’s publicist Stephen Huvane that says “In an effort to reduce any further speculation, we have decided to announce our separation, this decision was mutual and lovingly made at the end of last year. We continue to look forward to continue our friendship as two best friends and have decided to part ways as a couple.”

The statement also said the couple would have kept the arrangement private, but wanted to make sure people heard the truth, “given that the gossip industry cannot resist an opportunity to speculate and invent. The gossip that is printed about us, which are not directly from us, is writer’s imaginary narratives. Above all, we are determined to maintain the deep respect and love that we have for one another,” the statement said.

After staying together for four years both Jennifer Aniston, 49, and Justin Theroux, 46, were married in a secret ceremony in Los Angeles in August 2015, which took place at their Bel Air mansion.

The magazine Architectural Digest had recently published a feature about the couple’s home in Bel Air, Los Angeles. In the article Jennifer Aniston is featured as very homely corroborating in her own interviews, she is quoted, “there is no one else I want to be when I am in home, I have my husband around, my dogs and the home.” Theroux was not interviewed for the piece.

Jennifer Aniston starred in the hit TV series Friends and has appeared in numerous films such as Horrible Bosses, Office Christmas Party, Cake and Marley & Me. On the other hand Justin Theroux is an American actor, writer and director. He is also a cousin of British documentary maker Louis Theroux. He has worked with Ben Stiller for the script for Zoolander 2 and also starred in the television series The Leftovers. On TV, he guest-starred in several episodes of Parks and Recreation, and on Broadway he appeared in Observe the Sons of Ulster Marching Towards the Somme.

When Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux tied the knot it appeared their Hollywood love story had been cemented - but behind the blinding white smiles, the cracks were already beginning the show.

And although the split announcement shocked the world, sources said the pair had been bickering since their 2015 marriage - mainly about where to live.

According to the statement the pair has split at the end of the last year, but both of them are spotted celebrating the New Year together with their annual vacation at Cabo San Lucas, Mexico alongside a handful of close pals including Jason Bateman and his family.

The couple has spent quite a large amount of time apart in recent months raising questions. Justin Theroux was away from their home and was staying in New York most of the time. At the same time both the artist had a busy year as Jennifer Aniston has signed for a new Apple TV series with Reese Witherspoon and has filmed Dumplin in Atlanta, while Justin Theroux, filmed the comedy The Spy Who Dumped Me in Budapest.

Recently the actress also celebrated her 49th birthday but without the actor husband. She has celebrated her birthday in Malibu, California along with a small gathering of close friends like Andrea Bendewald, Courteney Cox, Leigh Kilton-Smith and Kristin Hahn. Theroux, meanwhile, was spotted out in New York City walking his dog on the day.

It was during the shooting of the film “Tropic Thunder” in the year 2011, when Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux met for the first time in Hawaii and soon started dating in 2011. After fours years dating and living together the couple married in a surprise and secret ceremony on August 5, 2015 just a few days before Theroux’s 44th birthday. 

The marriage was Jennifer Aniston’s second marriage who is earlier married to Brad Pitt in the year 2000 forming one of Tinsel town’s most glamorous couples of the time. They both divorced in the year 2005 after Brad Pitt met Angelina Jolie on the set of “Mr. and Mrs. Smith”. Unfortunately Brad Pitt is now estranged with Angelina Jolie.
