Jennifer Garner and Her 12 Year Old Daughter Rescued While Kayaking in Sweden

Jennifer went on a kayaking trip along with her 12-year-old daughter Violet and they ended up having an adventure of their lives. Luckily, a Swedish adventurer rescued them and brought back safely.

Garner informed the world about her tryst with nature on her Instagram post. She wrote,“On a pre-middle-school sneak away with my eldest… Did I get us lost in a kayak? Yes. Did we paddle as hard as we could for 100 hours and end up in a shipping lane? I’m afraid so,”. “Did we have to be rescued? Yup.”

The kayaking trip in Sweden took an unexpected turn

The outing with the daughter could have turned dangerous. The mother-daughter duo went out to spend some quality time together before she goes to middle school. They decided to go on kayaking and slowly got pulled by the sneaky waves. It was too late when they realized they were lost. Garner, on Instagram, says they drifted into a shipping lane. This belt of fast flowing water is not a place for a movie star to be in and that too in a small kayak. The 46-year-old actress also posted a picture with the savior Mattias. Her Instagram post says, “If you’ve seen my post today… This is Mattias! Our savior! Thank you, @bipsterpersson!”

Who is the savior? We already know his name, Garner made sure she mentioned him in her Instagram post. This Mattias Persson seems to be a bold mariner. In his 20s, he seems to be quite an adventurer venturing out in the mid-seas and saving damsels in distress. He had a girlfriend for many years but now he is single.

The coincidence

The whole incident may seem as if it is a precursor to Garner’s new television show which is also about a trip gone wrong. Jennifer is starring in a television comedy series titled ‘Camping’. The first trailer was released in the month of July. Camping is about a couple who are married and are planning a trip. The well-planned trip goes awry due to many factors like uninvited guests and nature that decides to conspire against the couple. The trip turns into a test of nerves and relationships. The show which will premiere on October 14 is created by Jenni Konner and Lena Dunham and is an adaptation of a British series

The cast

David Tennant and Garner are playing the main characters in the series. Garner is playing the role of the wife Kathryn and David is reprising the role of the TV husband, Walt.

Garner is not new to working on television. Earlier, she had featured in the TV series Alias which featured on ABC and broadcasted for five seasons. It was created by J J Adams. It was an American action series and was aired in 2001.

The creators of Camping are excited to have Garner onboard as they feel she will bring warmth and intelligence to the main character.
