Rahul missed Delhi Capitals’ opening match against Lucknow SuperGiants in the IPL 2025 season to be with his family.
The Indian cricketer shared the wonderful news on social media with his followers.
Sharing the good news, the couple posted a card on Instagram that read, ‘Blessed with a baby girl.’
The social media post attracted a lot of comments and likes.
Delhi Capitals were among the first to congratulate the new parents, and teammate Shikhar Dhawan also posted his wishes.
Tennis star Sania Mirza too posted her heartwarming wishes with emojis.
Many celebrities from Bollywood, such as Kiara Advani, Kriti Sanon, Aditi Rao Hydari and Arjun Kapoor posted their congratulatory messages.
The new parents dated for sometime before they made their relationship official. The couple tied the knot in a private ceremony in January, 2023. Their wedding was low key far from the attention of the media.
Rahul is expected to rejoin the Delhi Capitals camp ahead of their next game -- against SunRisers Hyderabad in Vizag on March 30.
