Karan Johar Does an Amazing Job in Enacting Rishi Kapoor from the Popular Film ‘Bobby’

This time the film-maker has gone a step ahead and replicated Rishi Kapoor by superimposing his face in an amusing video.
Karan can be seen playing the part of Rishi Kapoor and singing the famous song ‘Main Shayar Toh Nahin’ from the famous flick ‘Bobby.’ Lata Mangeshkar and Shailendra Singh lent their voices to this hit song of yesteryears.
Karan has shared the post on Instagram with these lines, “Raj Kapoor was one of my all-time favourite filmmakers! And Rishi Kapoor is my all-time favourite actor!”
The filmmaker has given us permission to laugh on his creative and catchy video by saying, “I also want to tell all of you to please go ahead and laugh! You are totally allowed to!”
The famous film ‘Bobby’ that also featured Dimple Kapadia in a leading role was directed by Rishi Kapoor’s father Raj Kapoor. The movie released in 1973. It was Dimple’s first movie and the highlight of the film was the chemistry between the two leading actors in the film.
Karan’s get-up in the video is pretty similar to Rishi Kapoor in the film, the same manner of dressing and the same hairstyle. Karan has done an amazing job in enacting Rishi’s mannerisms in the song and we had no other option but to give him thumbs up for being a sport. Sanjay Trimbakkar was the person behind the creation of this video.
There was an outpour of numerous comments after the video was posted. Dino Morea wrote, “Brilliant stuff… wahhh, what next??” Ayushmann Khurana’s wife Tahira commented, “See your father always knew about your talent and looks! You should have listened to him (sic.)
In a video shared earlier, his children can be seen keeping themselves busy by exploring Johar’s wardrobe. Karan captioned the video, “Now they think I am wearing my mother’s clothes!!!”
