Kareena, Kriti and Tabu to Star in a Comedy Riot Titled ‘The Crew’

Three talented actresses Kareena, Tabu and Kriti will be sharing screen space for an upcoming project called ‘The Crew.’
The movie is reportedly set against the backdrop of the airline industry which is an interesting subject. Not many films have been made revolving around this theme in the recent past.
The film produced by Rhea Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor of ‘Veere Di Wedding’ fame and directed by Rajesh Krishnan is a complete comedy.
Reports suggest that the three gorgeous gals are working women and as destiny would have it the three ladies get trapped in a web of lies.
Ekta has aroused curiosity about the quirky plot by writing this: “After the success of Veere Di Wedding, Balaji Motion Pictures is happy to collaborate on another film with the amazing Rhea Kapoor. Tabu, Kriti, and Kareena are a perfect ensemble for ‘The Crew’ and the film is super entertaining yet funny at the same time. I can’t wait to bring this story to the big screen.”

Speaking about her new project, Tabu wrote, “Excited for a new and crazy journey with Kareena kapoor, Kriti Sanon for Rhea Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor 's next. Directed by Rajesh Krishnan. Shoot begins February 2023.”
Even Kareena had spoken about the project earlier this year: “I am doing a film with Rhea. It is not Veere 2 . It is a story about three women. It is going to be slightly different. It's a super cool and fun story.”
While Kriti Sanon said, “I always look forward to strong characters and unique stories and ‘The Crew’ is one of them. I am very thrilled to work with two powerhouses of talent , Tabu ma’am and Kareena! I’ve always admired and looked up to them and their work. I’ve met Tabu ma’am at a few occasions and she has always been extremely warm. Bebo is simply iconic, I’ve been a fan girl! On the other hand, Rhea and Ektaa are just phenomenal, strong producers who have backed empowering and progressive female characters and subjects.

The three gals have indulged in a photo-shoot for fashion magazine Vogue and the photographs are going viral for all the right reasons. Dressed in complete black ensembles, the three leading ladies have enamoured audiences with their stunning looks.
According to Vogue this is the first time these three women are meeting since signing their new project although their camaraderie in the photographs tells us a different story. Each of these women have worked in the industry at different stages; Kriti being the newest to join the acting bandwagon.
The trio exclusively spoke to Vogue magazine about diverse topics such as their careers, the Indian film industry and the most important subject of working with like-minded colleagues.
The shoot of this all-women comedy drama is set to begin in February 2023.
