Katrina Kaif’s Stalker Arrested at a Hotel in Santacruz Suburb

Reports of a stalker harassing actress Katrina Kaif has been doing the rounds for the past few days.

He would bug the newly married couple on calls and on social media. He threatened Vicky Kaushal to get separated from the actress. 

He also threatened that he would hurt Kat’s sister Isabelle Kaif.

The good news is that the stalker has been identified and arrested by the Mumbai police following a complaint lodged by Vicky Kaushal according to a report in ETimes. 

An FIR was registered on Monday after Vicky Kaushal gave a written complaint. 

The man has been identified as Manvinder Singh. It is believed that the stalker was a struggling actor and he hailed from Lucknow.  He was traced in a hotel in Mumbai’s Santacruz suburb. 

In social media posts Manvinder would mention Katrina as his wife. He would also share morphed pictures alongside the actress. There are several edited videos and photographs that exhibit the degree of his obsession. 

Manvinder Singh has been booked under Indian Penal Code sections 354(d) (stalking), 506 (2) (criminal intimidation), and the IT Act section 67 (publishing or transmitting obscene material in electronic form) according to a police officer. 

The police are also investigating how the stalker managed to get the personal numbers of the actors. 

He will be produced before a Mumbai court on tuesday.
