Katrina Ropes in Ranveer for a Funny Promo on Her New Beauty Line

Actress Katrina Kaif recently gave a sneak preview of her upcoming beauty line called ‘Kay by Katrina’ The actress said that this is a brand that she truly believes in and she dreamt of creating her own beauty line nearly two years ago. She reveals that the make-up line is a bridge between glamour and care. 

“Two years ago I dreamt of creating a beauty line. So excited to finally share it with you... Can't wait. And it's all on @kaybykatrina #kaybykatrina #kayxnykaa.”

To promote and to add a little spunk to her new make-up brand Katrina teamed up with good friend Ranveer Singh. While both of them were present for an awards function, Kat didn’t miss the opportunity to rope in Ranveer to promote her Kohl pencil from Kay beauty line. She created the funny video and shared it on her Instagram account and fans evidently couldn’t stop laughing after viewing the amusing video. Ranveer Singh sounded rhetoric while promoting Kat’s products and that made the video all the more funny. 

Both the actors complimented each other by dressing up in red. In the video, Kat can be seen applying lipstick when Ranveer interrupts her. “Hi Katrina! What are you doing?” Katrina then decides to apply some Kohl in his eyes. Ranveer tells her that he applied Kohl in his eyes for his characters Alauddin Khilji in Padmaavat and Peshwa Bajirao in Bajirao Mastani. Kat admits that he looked amazing with Kajal in his eyes.

While Kat gets busy applying Kohl in Ranveer’s eyes, he screams as if his eyes are hurt. Katrina Kaif, in turn, laughs off his mischievous pranks. “An unprecedented level of hotness has now been achieved. Thanks Katrina! What would I do without Kay beauty products,” he says rhetorically.

After this video went viral actors like Arjun Kapoor also barged in to have some fun. “U both can start doing city tours with this live demo TVC / low budget school play,” he wrote. 

Though Kat’s cosmetic products seem to be promising, it is left to be seen how the cosmetic line performs in the market. In the interim, Katrina’s co-stars have come forward in support of her beauty line. Actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, Aamir Khan and Salman Khan have congratulated Katrina on her new venture. 

Another promo video on Katrina’s beauty line called #ItsKayToBeYou has gone viral. It features tennis star Saina Nehwal and South Indian actress Nayanthara. The video raises an important question that is whether we are comfortable in our own skin. It lays emphasis on the fact that real beauty lies in “being you.”
