King Khan Is All Praise for Wife Gauri, Who Features in Femina’s September Issue
The ‘King of Bollywood’ went ahead and shared the feature on his wife on his social media account.
Gauri Khan was recently featured on the cover of Femina magazine on which she is bestowed with the title of ‘Queen of Decor.’ Seeing his wife featured on the cover, her proud husband ‘King Khan’ had something awesome to say.
Despite being a superstar’s wife, Gauri Khan has managed to carve an identity and niche for herself. Mrs. Khan didn’t believe in basking in the glory of her husband, the most sought-after actor in Bollywood. She went on to create something of her own. A design store called ‘Gauri Khan Designs’ and has worked on some amazing projects that have brought her immense success and credibility. Her interior designing boutique is quite popular in Bollywood.
The interior designer was featured on the cover of the September’s issue of Femina where she looks fresh and youthful as ever. Gauri is seen wearing a stylish off-white cape shirt with a plunging neckline paired with blue slacks. She’s seated on a trunk which has a vintage appearance. Of course, it was a proud moment for ‘King Khan’ to see his gorgeous wife on the cover of a magazine. The ‘King of Bollywood’ went ahead and shared the feature on his wife on his social media account. He comments “For us she is the Cover Mother.” A comment that indicates, how proud he is of her role as a wife and a mother. A well deserved comment indeed!
Just before Gauri Khan, her daughter Suhana Khan had graced the cover of ‘Vogue.’ Suhana oozed oodles of oomph and confidence in the cover of the magazine. According to Anaita Shroff Adajania, Vogue’s fashion director, Suhana Khan has the same quiet confidence just as her mother Gauri Khan. Suhana Khan is currently studying in a private boarding school in London whereas her brother Aryan, 21, is studying filmmaking in London. Suhana credits Gauri Khan for keeping the family together, despite all the family members scattered around the globe. It is Gauri who plans all the family holidays together. “We know it’s important to spend time together. Mum coordinates all our diaries and plans our holidays, where we just hang out watching movies and playing games. We’re all super competitive, so when we play board games things become super tense!”
The ‘Super Mom’ recently appeared in Shahrukh Khan’s Instagram account. This was quite unusual as both of them generally share pictures of their lovely kids. The pair took a selfie while vacationing in Europe, last month. SRK’s captions that are always catchy, posted these lines about his wife, “After years the wife has allowed me to post a pic I have taken....she’s all heart!”
Gauri Khan who is seriously following her passion in interior designing, took to designing while renovating her ‘Mannat’ home in Bandra. Her boutique is visited by top-notch actors like Kareena Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Sonam Kapoor, Aamir Khan and so on. Gauri was recently in the news for redecorating Karan Johar’s rooftop, for re-doing Jacqueline Fernandez’s place, and designing Ranbir Kapoor’s home.
