Kolkata Set to Host the GOD International Awards for the Very First Time

Kolkata (India) for the very first time, is set to be the venue for the Asia Global Order of Dignitaries and Philanthropists (G.O.D.) Asia Awards, which is being co-hosted by Charitable trust SREI foundation. The award show is going to take place on July 28 and 29 and will be held in association with its founding organization We Care for Humanity and Sant Nirankari Mission.

Some of the most influential people of the world would come together under a roof at the Westin Rajarhat in Kolkata for the illustrious program honoring humanity.

SREI Foundation has given out a hand of support towards honoring and rewarding visionaries, humanitarians, and world leaders wherein they would bring all of them under a single roof and topics like health, education, children and youth, human rights, women empowerment and gender equality would be discussed in the panel.




The G.O.D awards is one of the those which seek to reward humanitarian work and in turn, making them agents of change to bring about development and growth in the world. This year, their focus of work is education, where they would primarily focus on building a charitable educational institute at the center of India-Nagpur for the development of 6000 students annually.

One of the leading awards in the world, the G.O.D awards identifies and rewards the work done by individuals who have had a major role in defining how life would be for many communities.

SREI Foundation has helped the G.O.D Asia Awards make its way for the very first time in the City of Joy. Hari Prasad Kanoria, the chairman of the Foundation said at the event, “the universe will help us achieve our mission and vision, if it is good for Humanity.”

Princess Maria Amor, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Protocol & Appointment Officer of The Royal House of Baloi, in the Philippines and also the founder of We Care of Humanity and initiator of G.O.D Awards spoke about the importance of a philanthropist in today’s world.

“Humanitarianism fails without diversity. This emphasizes the importance and responsibility a philanthropist has in the modern-day world. WCH's mission is not over until the ratio between humanitarians and humanity is 1:1,” she said.

The convener of the G.O.D awards Rahul Verma added, “Nourishing the minds through accessible quality education is the premise of progress in every society. Investing into education is the most impactful way to surmount the obstacles needed to achieve the UN 2030 agenda. This is a great initiative undertaken by GOD Asia. We need to encourage people to serve humanity".

Awards is a global humanitarian awards institution honoring the "greatest humanitarians of the world" from the highest echelon of Diplomacy, Royalty, Business & Economy, Medicine, Philanthropy, Culture & Arts and Entertainment whose unequivocal contribution to humanity have made significant impact on Human Rights, Global Peace, Green Environment, Education, Health and Wellness, Eradication of Poverty and Empowerment.


The GOD Awards is an annual event at United Nations Headquarters in New York in association with WCH Humanitarian Summit and other Global events. The Awards also serves as a fundraising platform for humanitarian projects of its founding organizations, We Care for Humanity.
