New Delhi: Kunickaa Sadanand, a contestant in Bigg Boss 19, has captured public attention not only for her onscreen persona but also for her turbulent personal journey. During the latest Weekend Ka Vaar, her son Ayaan Lall, from her second marriage with Vinay Lall, appeared on the show and shared unseen chapters of her past. His revelations evoked tears in Salman Khan’s eyes, who lauded Kunickaa’s resilience and rebuked Farrhana Bhat for her insensitive remarks against the 62-year-old actress.
The Confrontation
The discord began when Farrhana Bhat mocked Kunickaa by calling her a “flop actress.” Salman Khan strongly intervened, telling her, "If you endure what she has endured and manage to become even a fraction of what she is, I'll bow to you. You dragged her kids into the argument."
Salman also pointed out Kunikaa’s mistake of stepping down from captaincy within three days, reminding her, "You never quit in life, then why did you do it here? You wasted an opportunity and proved Gaurav right."
Ayaan’s Heartfelt Words
The atmosphere turned poignant when Ayaan spoke directly to Farrhana. He narrated his mother’s struggle from adolescence to adulthood. "Farrhana, I just want to say that you called my mother a flop actress and a flop lawyer. Let me tell you a small story. There was a little girl who dreamt of happiness with her own family. At 17, she married for love, but the marriage failed. Her son was kidnapped from a train station. To fight that case, she entered films, earned money, and traveled every week between Mumbai and Delhi, often left penniless. After 12 years, she reunited with my brother. Later, she married my father, moved to the US, and had me. But that marriage too ended. She never got the domestic bliss she dreamed of, so please don’t diminish her journey."
Ayaan’s words added gravitas to the episode. He further said, "I am the proudest son in the world. My milkman’s community, our neighbors, and even the Kinnar samaj you helped as a lawyer, are all rooting for you, Mumma. I am what I am because of your prayers and strength."
