After Gaga’s Oscar-nominated role in ‘A Star Is Born’, this is another project that is promising. The movie is based on Sara Gay Forden’s book: “The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamour, and Greed.”
Maurizio Gucii who was the head of the fashion family house at one time was shot outside his office in 1995 by a hitman and the person responsible for his death was his own ex-wife. She came to be known as the ‘Black Widow.’
Patrizia was arrested two years later after his death. She was convicted the year after and sentenced to 29 years in prison. Reggiani was later released from prison on account of her good behavior.
Speaking about her ex-husband in an interview with the observer, Patrizia Reggiani said, “If I could see Maurizio again I would tell him that I love him because he is the person who has mattered most to me in my life.”
It would be interesting to witness how the ‘Alejandro’ singer would portray the Black Widow’s dark story on screen. The movie that follows the assassination of Maurizio Gucci will be directed by Ridley Scott.

The Sanskrit lines read, “Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu.” When translated in English the lines mean, “May all remain happy and free and may the thoughts, words, and actions of my own life contribute in some way to that happiness and freedom for all.”
