MedGenome Labs Private Limited has now been awarded an accreditation by the accreditation committee of the College of American Pathologist (CAP), the world's largest organization of board-certified pathologists and leading provider of laboratory accreditation and proficiency testing programme. The Bangalore-headquartered company is a genomics-driven research and diagnostics organisation, that has set out on a mission to improve global health by decoding the genetic information contained in an individual's genome. The CAP accreditation has been bagged on the basis of results of a recent on-site inspection as part of their accreditation programme. Interestingly, currently CAP serves pathologists, patients and the public, at large, by fostering and advocating excellence in the practice of pathology and laboratory medicine worldwide.
