Aditya Chopra has announced the leading cast of ‘Bunty Aur Babli 2’! Yes, the classic rom-com is finally having a sequel.
Reportedly, filming has already began, and it’s high time you get up and close with the main pair of the movie.
Siddhant Chaturvedi, the MC Sher from ‘Gully Boy’ is Bunty. The young actor also made quite an impression with his performance in the Amazon Prime original series ‘Inside Edge’.
As Babli, Yash Raj Films will be introducing a newcomer, Sharvari.
The pair looks fresh and full of potential.
If you are curious about the plot, we won’t be able to help you with much info, but being a sequel, it could be assumed that the second part might be something similar to the original version.
‘Bunty Aur Babli’ released in 2005 was about a small-town girl and a boy with sky-high aspirations. Destiny brings them together and they get involved in con business to fulfill their dreams. This beautifully executed romantic comedy had Abhishek Bachchan and Rani Mukerji as the smartass Bunty and cute ‘n’ naughty Babli.
