Meghan Markle Makes a Comeback in the Rerelease of a Movie as a Party Girl
Now, it looks like the ‘Royal Duchess’ is going to hit screens soon. Years before Markle became part of Royalty; she worked in a film called ‘The Boys and Girls Guide to Getting Down’ in 2011.
Meghan Markle quit acting after tying the knot in May 2018 to perform her royal duties. It was least expected that Meghan would be seen again on the big screen.
Now, it looks like the ‘Royal Duchess’ is going to hit screens soon. Years before Markle became part of Royalty; she worked in a film called ‘The Boys and Girls Guide to Getting Down’ in 2011.
The movie follows a group of youngsters and their outrageous party night out in Los Angeles. The movie aims to send a message to youngsters about all things related to partying. It shows the ups and downs and the consequences of heavy clubbing. Meghan Markle plays the role of Dana who is the main protagonist and a party girl.
Her role in this comedy film is quite different from her sophisticated role as Rachel Zane in the ‘Suits’ drama. She’s seen slipping into a skin-tight dress before heading for a night out with her girl pal Heather. You can surprisingly catch Markle even drug snorting in the film.
The film has been picked up by Artist Rights Distribution for North America according to the Hollywood Reporter. The distribution company plans to release the movie later this year.
Though the Duchess has kept herself from acting after getting married, one of her recent new roles involves working with the National Theatre in London.
Working with the National Theatre will pave a path for future opportunities in acting according to Robert Lacey who is a consultant for Netflix TV series ‘The Crown.’ “If Meghan is ever missing the excitement of acting, this will put her back in touch with show business in a very creative way. It is tailor-made for her and she will throw herself into it”, said Lacey.
According to it him, it is not a far dream when we actually see the Royal Duchess back on the stage of the National Theatre which is located next to the Thames River in Central London.
It’s also being speculated that Meghan might make a comeback in ‘Suits.’ Suits director Aaron Kosh is currently not giving out any information but it is being speculated that she would make a comeback for one last episode of ‘Suits.’ Apparently, Aaron Kosh has told ‘Popsugar’ that if Meghan Markle is prepared for a reprisal in ‘Suits’, they’ll pay her a multimillion-dollar donation and she could donate it to any charity of her choice.
