Millie Brown Desires to Play Britney Spears in a Biopic; Britney Responds “Dude I'm not Dead”

Earlier this week, actress Millie Bobby Brown graced the Drew Barrymore show and expressed her desire to play Britney Spears in case a biopic comes up on her life. 

“I want to play a real person and I think for me, Britney. (It) would be Britney Spears”, said Millie. 

The ‘Stranger Things’ actress expressed that she sees similarities between her and Britney as they both started their career when they were 9 years old. 

Millie believes that her story resonates with her. 

“Just growing up, watching her videos, watching interviews of her when she was younger.

“I see the scramble for words and I don't know her, but when I look up pictures of her I feel like I could tell her story in the right way and hers only.”

The news happened to reach Britney’s ears. 

She responded, “Good news, good news !!! Still breathing.”

“I hear about people wanting to do movies about my life ... dude I'm not dead !!!”

Britney Spears is very active on Instagram and she frequently discusses nuances of her personal life on the platform. Some of her posts are laced with anger and sarcasm especially directed towards her family. She has been through a lot of controversies; the most recent one being the conservatorship issue. 

That said, many observers noted that Britney misinterpreted Millie’s creative, simple and clear intentions.

“We love you Britney ❤️ Also, I think Millie Bobby Brown meant it as a compliment that she wanted to play you in a movie and that she’d honor you properly, don’t be offended Queen!,” one user wrote.

“It was a compliment honey, don’t take everything you hear as a bad thing. Chill.” 

“why is she always have this arrogant attitude with everyone? like Millie didn’t even says anything bad but just paying homage.”

“She’s so rude for no reason…,”

As for Millie Brown, she hasn’t responded to Britney Spears yet.
