MoEngage Inc Joins Google, Facebook League, Rolls Out Personalized Messaging Solution

MoEngage Inc., an AI-powered customer engagement platform for marketers and e-commerce sites, floated by two alumni of Indian Institute of Technology-Kharagpur (IIT-KGP), and with large operations in the US and India, has now joined the leagues of tech biggies like Google and Facebook, enabling brands like Samsung, Vodafone, Flipkart, Supershuttle, Airtel, Deutsche Telekom to convert customers through personalized messaging.

The tech start-up funded by Helion Venture Partners, Exfinity Ventures, Snapdeal co-founders Kunal Bahl & Rohit Bansal, TaxiForSure co-founder Raghunandan G and Facebook executive Anand Chandrasekaran, among others, helps internet companies interact with every user in a unique and personal manner, enabling them to deliver individual-level service via push notifications, in-app recommendations, and other retargeting channels to strengthen the customer-brand relationship and help drive conversion and growth.

Given the ever-increasing volume of emails and push notifications that are delivered to a customer’s mobile, a sure shot way to gain and retain consumers' interest is through hyper-personalized content that is based on the unique preferences and tastes of consumers. MoEngage has been helping brands boost their customer engagement through Dynamic Product Messaging (DPM), a automation and intelligence tool. This solution has been developed on the basis of the platform’s proprietary, called ‘Sherpa Interaction Graph’, which, in turn, successfully maps each user’s behavior with the products/contents from the catalog and powers these product recommendations.

With its DPM, MoEngage has already managed to achieve for Push Notifications and Emails, quite similar to what Facebook and Google have done for dynamic ads. Dynamic Product Messaging, with the help of a combination of catalog inputs and user-tracking,  can send the most relevant product recommendations to users. The use cases actually extend much beyond products to content recommendations, price drop alerts, and so on.

The MoEngage solution helps marketers set up a regular sync of their product catalog to build the Sherpa Interaction Graph with real-time pricing / availability information and thereby create campaigns targeting specific products for specific audiences. It also lets MoEngage automatically deliver the most relevant products to customers. Products can be shown in single or multi-product creatives. Interestingly, DPM can also be customized for use throughout the customer journey, from the discovery of products to the abandonment of shopping carts and continued engagement to drive repeat purchases.

“So far, our disruptive technology offerings have been wildly successful in meeting the need of today's marketers. Over the last three years, we have pioneered Dynamic Product Messaging in the mobile space and also helped top-tier clients in acquiring and retaining customers. We're thrilled about all the positive feedback and results we've been receiving and hope to incessantly delight our customers with more innovative solutions,” said Raviteja Dodda, CEO, MoEngage Inc.

He said that their user analytics and mobile engagement platform has expanded to 35 countries and has signed up with clients such as Deutsche Telekom, Samsung, Airtel and, Flipkart. The key to MoEngage's success lies in launching frequent updates and features, based on a keen understanding of user-behavior. Incessant improvement is part of the company's culture, he said.
