Naseeruddin Shah and Jim Sarbh Shine in First Look of Made in India – A Titan Story

The first look at Made in India, A Titan Story, featuring Naseeruddin Shah and Jim Sarbh, has officially been revealed. The series offers audiences a captivating glimpse into Titan’s extraordinary journey of becoming one of India’s most treasured and timeless brands.

The treasure was launched on the 11th anniversary of the government’s ‘Make in India’ initiative, perfectly aligning the story with the spirit of self-reliance and indigenous enterprise. The show retraces the inspiring partnership of JRD Tata and Xerxes Desai, the masterminds who shaped Titan into a household name. From the quiet intensity of corporate boardrooms to the rhythmic bustle of factory shop floors, the series encapsulates how a daring idea evolved into a phenomenon that redefined India’s identity on the world stage.

On Thursday, the creators released a promotional video across social media. The clip highlighted the young Titan team’s determination to dream boldly, even when surrounded by skepticism and doubt. The makers accompanied it with the words, “History toh ban gayi, par kaise bani yeh jald hi pata chalega. (History has been made, but how it was made will be revealed soon).”

In the series, Naseeruddin Shah will step into the role of the dignified JRD Tata, while Jim Sarbh will embody the visionary Xerxes Desai. The ensemble cast also includes Namita Dubey, Vaibhav Tatwawaadi, Kaveri Seth, Lakshvir Saran, and Paresh Ganatra, adding further richness to the narrative.

Sharing his thoughts, Shah remarked, “Portraying J.R.D. Tata is both a privilege and a responsibility. He was a man who combined vision with humanity, and it is rare to encounter stories so deeply intertwined with the very making of modern India. Made in India is not just about a company; it is about a legacy that continues to inspire generations.”

Directed by Robby Grewal and scripted by Karan Vyas, the production comes from Prabhleen Sandhu’s Almighty Motion Pictures. The much-anticipated show will debut early next year on Amazon MX Player, with free streaming access on MX Player, Prime Video, Amazon apps, Fire TV, and Airtel Xstream.
