Netflix Releases Pictures of the New Cast of ‘The Crown’ Season 5
Netflix released new images of “The Crown” season 5 starring Elizabeth Debicki and Dominic West.
Netflix released new images of “The Crown” season 5 starring Elizabeth Debicki and Dominic West.
Elizabeth and Dominic would be portraying the roles of Princess Diana and Prince Charles respectively in the upcoming new season.
In the new season Elizabeth Debicki takes over from Emma Corrin while Dominic West takes over Josh O’ Connor who played the same roles in the earlier season.
Netflix captioned the images, “Our new Prince Charles (Dominic West) and Princess Diana (Elizabeth Debicki).”
Actress Imelda Staunton would be playing the new Queen Elizabeth II, Lesley Manville will play Princess Margaret, Jonathan Pryce as Prince Philip and Jony Lee Miller as Prime Minister John Major.
There were mixed reactions to the new actors portraying Charles and Diana. Some followers loved the new cast while there were others who thought that West was not one of the best options to play Prince Charles.
We are not yet sure whether season 5 will include Princess Diana’s fatal 97 car crash in Paris or whether it will be included in season 6.
Due to the pandemic however there’s a slight delay in the release of season 5.
