The Oscars 2018 is just a day ahead and I know how much you are eager to watch the biggest entertainment award show of the year - the 90th Academy Awards that will be taking place at the Dolby Theatre, Los Angeles, California, US at 5pm GMT-8. The Beauty and the Oscars
Remember the most talked about, most genx-going-crazy-after film from the Oscars 2017? La La Land of course! Emma Stone bagged the best actress award beating the oh so beautiful Meryl Streep and people, she was looking ravishing on stage.

Adding up to that, La La Land made it for best director, best original music score, best production design, best cinematography… huff! That was all!
The Shame and the Oscars

But why the world will always remember the Oscars 2017 and La La land? The reason is quite embarrassing! It was Moonlight that actually won the best picture category but, ladies and gentlemen, the award was initially announced for La La Land, mistakenly for sure! But such a mistake on the Oscar stage? Really? Well, nothing is impossible!
The Black, Blue and the Oscars
And even Moonlight grabbed the spotlight in more than one categories. Along with the best picture, it won the best supporting actor category and best writing adapted screenplay. (Okay, you must be wondering, why the subtitle says ‘The, Black, Blue…’) The 2016 film is based on a semi-autobiographical play by Tarell Alvin, where black boys look blue! No spoiler alert! Watch the best film of 2017 yourself.

From the Trump jokes to trolling some of the Oscar audiences, the Oscars ‘funnyman’ literally united the Hollywood. Good news is, Jimmy Kimmel will back on the stage of 2018 Oscars too. We just can’t wait to laugh.
The Charm and the Oscars
It happened it 2016, but we know, we still talk about it. Leonardo DiCaprio was awarded the first Oscar of his life for The Revenant.

Many were happy for this charming actor finally made it and some were not, as he made it but not for his best work. Oscar conspiracy? Well…
In 2017 Oscars I missed that charm factor on stage. How much I had dreamt of Ryan Gosling receiving it for the best actor category, and he was nominated too. But, few things are just too good to be true. Duh!
What are your best and favorite moments from the Oscars 2017? You know… I am always all ears!
