Prince Harry and Meghan are Unhappy They Cannot Invite Michelle to the Wedding, Michelle Devastated

Harry and Meghan Markle are upset as they cannot invite Michelle Obama to the wedding. The reason they are upset is that Michelle Obama had a hand in bringing Meghan and Prince Harry together. According to Prince Harry without Michelle the wedding wouldn’t have taken place. The couple is not happy and is disappointed she cannot come to their wedding.

It is believed Michelle played an important role in the couple’s romance. She brought them together and she is the reason the royal wedding is taking place.  

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced they will not be calling any political dignitaries to their wedding. Her Majesty’s Government was consulted and the decision was taken by the Royal household. Even Donald Trump and Theresa May have not been invited. The official reason given is that it is unlikely that Prince Harry will be a King because he is fifth in line to the throne and will become the sixth after Prince William and Kate Middleton have their third child. Since Prince Harry’s becoming a King is nearly unlikely, hence it is not necessary to invite political dignitaries.

Why can’t they invite Michelle and Barack Obama? It is because it will create a diplomatic problem. It is known that Prince Harry and Meghan are not fond of President Donald Trump. However, if they invite Obamas and not invite him, would be a big snub and insult which could create an uproar. So, to avoid this headache the decision not to invite the Obamas was taken even though the royal couple is devastated by the decision.   

Prince Harry and the Obamas have a close relationship. They met in 2015 when Barack Obama was the President Of America and ever since they have been close. Their friendship began when they met at the Invictus Games. Last year they were photographed together in Toronto. The connection between the Prince and the Obamas grew deeper over the years.

It is reported Michelle Obama who had introduced Meghan to Prince Harry, is sad as she will not be able to be a part of their big day.  

The couple has decided instead of inviting political leaders, they would invite 1200 members from the common public. They would give out invitations to young people who have displayed good leadership qualities and who have done something good for the community.

They have also decided to invite people from charities they are connected with and also 199 children from local schools.

The Royal couple has decided to keep away from political drama and unfortunately are not able to invite their close friends. However, this doesn’t mean their friendship is over. They will surely be hanging out together and both the couples are eager to meet each other soon.
