Prince Harry’s Autobiography ‘Spare’ Becomes UK’s Fastest Selling NonFiction Book Ever

Prince Harry’s controversial autobiography  ‘Spare’ has been released in the UK. The book has now become UK's fastest selling non fiction book ever.

Book enthusiasts and royal followers can’t wait to get their hands on this one after the royal family has come under media scrutiny following Prince Harry’s shocking revelations about the British Monarch. 

Many people were found standing in long queues at midnight to get their copy of ‘Spare.’ The book contains personal struggles of Harry while growing up in the Royal Family. 

Larry Finlay, the managing director of Transworld Penguin Random House, told The Guardian, "We always knew this book would fly but it is exceeding even our most bullish expectations. As far as we know, the only books to have sold more on their first day are those starring the other Harry [Potter]."

The book will contain details about how life was for Harry after the passing away of his mother Lady Diana, his tryst with psychedelic drugs, his experience as a pilot for the British army in Afghanistan. He revealed that he killed 25 Taliban fighters while he was in the army. 

He has described the walk behind his mother’s coffin and how he was not able to cry in public. 

The highlights of the book would be details concerning King Charles, Stepmother Camilla and Prince William. Details about how the brothers begged Charles not to marry Camilla. Another highlight would be the heated fight between William and Harry.

According to a report in Guardian 4,00,000 copies of the book have been sold including hardback, ebook and audio formats on the first day of the memoir’s release.
