Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas Are Now Officially United
Nick and Priyanka have set an amazing example of how two people belonging to two different faiths and backgrounds can come together respecting each other’s cultures and traditions.
Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are officially man and wife. The couple got married on December 1st in a Christian wedding ceremony on the lawns of Taj Umaid Bhawan Palace officiated by Nick Jonas’ father Paul Kevin Senior. Soon after the couple said “I do”, firecrackers illuminated the sky in celebration of their union.
The bride adorned a beautiful custom-made Ralph Lauren gown in the Christian ceremony. Even the groom, bridesmaid and best men opted for Ralph Lauren. Yesterday the couple tied the knot according to a traditional Hindu ceremony at the Baradari Lawns. During the ceremony, the couple exchanged vows and took the 'saat pheras' as per the Hindu rituals. Just like Ranveer and Deepika, Nick and Priyanka have chosen to be private when it comes to their wedding photos. As of now, they’ve only shared photos of the sangeet and mehendi ceremony.
The sangeet ceremony was “filmy” and eventful by all means. Priyanka Chopra looked glamorous in a sequinned embroidered saree designed by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla while Nick adorned a midnight blue kurta. The sangeet ceremony began as a fierce song and dance competition between the two families. Priyanka Chopra summed up the sangeet ceremony in these words, “It all began as a fierce song and dance competition between the families but ended, as always, as a huge celebration of love.” During the sangeet ceremony, Priyanka was joined on stage by her mother Madhu Chopra. Cousin Parineeti Chopra gave an amazing performance too while the Ambanis relished every moment of the ceremony as they were seated in the first row.

Priyanka expressed these lines about the sangeet ceremony, “Each family telling our stories through song and dance, filled with lots of laughter and love. We were both filled with gratitude for the effort, the love, and the laughter and will carry the memories of this special evening for the rest of our lives. It is an amazing start to a lifetime of togetherness for our families and friends." Both the families even played a cricket match where the parties seemed to have a lot of fun. The relationship between Nick and Priyanka began when he sent a direct message on Twitter in 2016. The actress, however, met Nick face to face only in 2017 in a party. It is here when Nick got down on one knee and said, "You're real. Where have you been all my life?" and as we can see the rest is history. We wish this amazing couple a lifetime of happiness.
