Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’ Official Wedding Photos Captivate Masses Worldwide

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas have released their official wedding photos and we must say that the bride and groom look amazingly stunning in their exquisite ensembles designed by Ralph Lauren and Sabyasachi Mukherjee respectively. The official wedding photos of the couple were eagerly awaited by fans worldwide and it was truly worth the wait.
Priyanka Chopra looked absolutely gorgeous in the exquisite custom Ralph Lauren gown. The stunning pure white gown featured floral motifs, with lace effect tulle appliqués, scalloped sleeves, and a high neck collar. The complete gown was hand embroidered and hand beaded with mother of pearl paillettes, crystal seed beads, and Swarovski Crystals. The gown took 1,826 hours in total to be completed. Underneath the gown, Priyanka adorned a strapless column dress which featured over two million mother of pearl sequins. Her angelic look was complete with a 75 long veil. To sum it all up, Priyanka looked nothing less than an angelic idol from a fairy tale story.
One could easily ascertain that the groom was absolutely smitten by his to-be-bride when she walked down the aisle. Jonas looked dapper in a double-breasted six button tuxedo suit. Inside the purple lapel of his tuxedo, Jonas inserted a small piece of lace from the bride’s dress with the Urdu words “My Jaan’ which means “My Life”. Likewise, Priyanka embroidered Nick’s full name, a Hindu mantra, and her parents' name in her wedding attire. She also had a piece of her mother-in-law’s wedding dress sewn into her own dress.
For the Hindu ceremony, Priyanka adorned a deep red lehenga designed by Sabyasachi Mukherji. The lehenga was heavily embroidered with a lot of sequin work. 110 embroiders from Kolkata worked for 3720 hours to complete the entire lehenga. The red lehenga features hand-cut organza flowers, French knots in silk floss and Siam red crystals. To complete the traditional look, Priyanka chose Mughal Jewellery which was crafted with uncut diamonds, emeralds, Japanese cultured pearls which had tiny stars in uncut diamonds.
Jonas for his part adorned a hand quilted silk sherwani and hand embroidered chikan dupatta and chanderi tissue safa. Jonas’ rose cut kalgi and Syndicate diamond necklace are from Sabyasachi Heritage Jewellery collection. To sum it up, the couple looked fabulous and carried both the traditional and western attire perfectly.
The couple was last spotted in New Delhi’s airport and they have planned a reception in the city. The couple’s fairytale wedding festivities are happily coming to a conclusion. Nick and Priyanka dated only for two months before making the decision to tie the knot. In fact, even their parents got married soon after meeting each other. Talking about this, Nick said “Both of our parents actually got married pretty quickly after meeting each other. Mine were three months and her parents 10 days. People always say 'you know when you know' - but really, 'you know when you know.'"
