Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas to Announce the 93rd Oscar Nominations

The Academy stated that the 93rd Oscars nominations will be announced by none other than power couple Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas. 

Oscars.com and other digital platforms like Facebook, Twitter and YouTube will live stream the nominations.

Priyanka took to Twitter to make the announcement in the “tell me without telling me” trend. 

In the video Priyanka is captured saying, “Tell me we are announcing the Oscar nominations without telling me we are announcing Oscar nominations”

Nick, who is seen pouring a drink behind her, tells her that she has already let the cat out of the bag and revealed the big secret, to which she cheekily replies, “Well, that's good enough. We are announcing the Oscar nominations! Catch us live.”

The 93rd Oscars will be held on Sunday, April 25, 2021, and will be televised live on ABC at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.

Meanwhile Nick Jonas has released the music video for his latest song ‘Spaceman.’

During an interview with Zane Lowe he revealed that keeping the current times in mind he chose the name ‘Spaceman’ for the music video because people have felt completely disconnected with the world. 

He expressed that “I made this album while doing what most of us have been doing this past year, sitting at home and hoping for better days ahead.”

The album explores four themes: distance, indulgence, euphoria and commitment.

Meanwhile he also shared some goofy snaps of himself and Priyanka with the spaceman on his Insta handle.

Catch a glimpse of the song below where he can be seen lost in an alien land and his only saving grace is the memories of his lover. He told earlier that isolation and Priyanka Chopra are the inspiration behind the song.
