Queen Elizabeth Celebrates Her 96th Birthday and 70 Years to The Throne

Queen Elizabeth will celebrate her 96th birthday on Thursday in Sandringham.
She travelled by helicopter to her Norfolk state where she'll be spending time in ‘Wood Farm’ cottage which was one of the favourite places of her late husband Prince Philip.
She’ll be joined by family and friends on the special occasion.
A photograph has been released to mark her 96th birthday where she’s standing between two royal white Fell Ponies at Windsor Castle.
On the occasion of her birthday, the royal family also released a throwback photo of the queen when she was only two years old.

In the photograph, Queen Elizabeth can be seen adorning a pretty dress and striking a pose with a cute smile.
The caption of the snap explained that the queen was the eldest daughter of the Duke and Duchess of York and she was never expected to be a queen.
When in 1936 her uncle King Edward VIII abdicated, her father King Goerge became the king which made her entitled to the throne.
She ascended the throne on February 6, 1952, after the passing away of her father King George VI when she was only 25 years.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson has sent birthday wishes for the queen and gun salutes will be fired today.
A barbie doll dedicated to the queen is being released by toymaker Mattel to mark her platinum jubilee.
The Queen completes 70 years on the throne this year.
The doll is adorning an ivory gown and a Tiara which is a recreation of her wedding ensemble.
