Rimi Sen Sues Land Rover over Poor Build Quality of Her Car
Actor Rimi Sen sued Land Rover for her faulty car as the sunroof and music system lagged. She seeks to replace the car song with 50 CR in compensation for the mental harassment and to cover the expenses.
Veteran actor Rimi Sen sues Land Rover for selling her a faulty car. She filed a 50 CR defamation suit against the manufacturer because of the faulty sunroof, music system, and reverse parking camera. While some of these features include safety systems, faults may occur.
In her complaint, she mentioned that she faced damages because of faults and mental harassment, which led her to ask for a compensation of 50 CR. Her car was bought in 2020, and it was not used much during the lockdown, leading to a noisy sunroof and lagging music system.
According to sources, the car was bought from Satish Motors, an authorized dealership. However, she faced challenges daily which led to spending hefty money for the car. Still, it could not be repaired.
She wants a new model of the same car along with 50 CR as compensation. Land Rover has not issued a statement yet.
