Salvador Ramos Was a Victim of School Bullying

18 year old Salvador Ramos who killed 19 children at Rob Elementary school was a victim of bullying.

According to friends and relatives Salvador was bullied because of his childhood speech impediment. He also had a disturbed family life.

According to a high school classmate Nadia Reyes, he put up an Instagram story where he’s seen screaming at his mother for kicking him out of their house.

Ramos last worked in a restaurant Wendy's and according to the night manager Adrian Mendez he “went out of the way to keep by himself.”

“You know how my guys talk to each other and are friendly? He wasn’t like that. No one really knew him.”

Another friend, Santos Valdez,18, said that he knew Salvador since they were young. Santos said that he once turned up to the park with cuts all over his face. Salvador’s explanation was that he did it for fun.

On that dreadful morning he messaged a stranger who was a lady and wrote, “I’m about to.” He also tagged her in photographs of guns on Instagram leaving that lady confused.

Salvador shot his grandmother on the head before embarking on the dreadful killing spree.

Investigators are yet to learn more about his mental health status and the reasons behind the mass shooting.

It is difficult to state any one factor that is causing an alarming rise of gun violence amongst  youngsters in America. School bullying, mental health issues, exposure to violent content and crime on the internet and easy access to guns are some of the prime factors of mass shootings in America.

It is however certain that the alarming increase of mass shootings has created an atmosphere of panic among parents, students and even the leaders of the nation.
