Sanjay Dutt on a Break for Medical Treatment; Urges Fans Not to Speculate

It has come to light that Sanjay Dutt who enjoys such a massive fan following is not well. He said that he would be taking a short break for medical treatment. 

On Tuesday he posted on social media, “Hi friends, I am taking a short break from work for some medical treatment. My family and friends are with me and I urge my well-wishers not to worry or unnecessarily speculate. With your love and good wishes, I will be back soon!”

We hope and pray for the actor to get back on his feet soon.  His co-stars remembered him on twitter and have sent him good wishes for his quick recovery. 

Meanwhile, Sanjay Dutt’s latest movie’s trailer is out.  Besides Sanjay Dutt ‘Sadak 2’ features Alia Bhatt and Aditya Roy Kapoor in prominent roles. Sanjay will reprise the role of Ravi who played a taxi driver in ‘Sadak.’

The trailer begins with a scene from ‘Sadak’ where Ravi can be seen driving his taxi. Coming to the present, Ravi looks much older with grey hair and he’s unshaven. He seems to be brooding over the death of his love interest Pooja Bhatt and finds no reason to live. 

The driving business has also been discontinued. A surprise guest comes banging at his doorstep! It is none other than Aryaa played by Alia Bhatt who had made a booking through his driving service. Sanjay however denies any booking and requests her to leave. 

In a turn of events, Sanjay can be seen driving Alia through the long winding roads nestled in the beauty of nature. 

Alia seems to have lost a loved one through the hands of a fake guru and is on a mission to expose his activities. 

Soon Aditya Kapoor who is in love with Alia joins them on the beautiful road trip. The trio gets caught up in a dangerous encounter with an evil looking guru played by Makarand Deshpande who runs an ashram. The trailer concludes with action-packed drama where the protagonists are on to expose the guru and his scandalous activities. 

The film under the banner of Vishesh Films marks Mahesh Bhatt’s return as a director after 20 years. The flick has been shot in places like Ooty, Mumbai, Mysore and Uttarakhand. It will premiere on 28 August on Disney+ Hotstar.
