Sanjay Dutt Requests His Fans to Pray for Him as He Heads to Kokilaben Hospital

Sanjay Dutt was pictured outside his residence before he could leave for Kokilaben Hospital for his medical treatment. His wife Maanyata, sisters Priya and Namrata were also present. Before stepping into the car Sanjay said, “Pray for me.”
Though the actor didn’t make any official statement regarding his health condition, reports suggest that he’s been diagnosed with lung cancer. His wife Maanyata however has requested everyone not to speculate the stage of his cancer.
Just after Sanjay Dutt left for the hospital, Maanyata’s official statement arrived. She began her note by saying, “To all of Sanju's fans and well-wishers, I can't begin to thank you for the love and warmth you have shown him all these years.”

She expressed, “While our family is shaken up, we are determined to fight tooth and nail.” It was yet another challenge that they are willing to face with “positivity and grace.”
At present the “Rocky” actor will take his preliminary treatment in Mumbai, albeit there may be chances of travelling depending on the ‘Covid’ situation.
Maanyata has been a strong pillar of support to her husband yet this time she’s disappointed as she can’t visit her husband at the hospital. She has just returned from Dubai and has to be on home quarantine.
We all know that Dutt’s life was not bereft of challenges. Right from battling drugs at a young age, losing his mother Nargis and wife Richa while he was still young, being imprisoned for years for the possession of weapons and now battling cancer.
The resilient actor has battled it all and has come through victorious. The actor admits that these struggles made him humble and transformed his life for the better.
In one of his early interviews at Algebra- The Arts and Ideas Club, the actor urges everyone to stay away from drugs. The common but popular message he generally sends across to all his followers is “be high on life, be high on your work. There is no better high than that ever.” We wish the humble, sensitive and talented actor a speedy recovery and we hope that he emerges triumphant this time as well.
