Saurav Ganguly Pads up for Polycrol

Former Indian skipper and current President, Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI)- Saurav Ganguly, will now be seen padding up for Polycrol, the antacid brand from the stable of Piramal Enterprises. Consumer Products Division of the $2.2 billion Ajay Piramal-led PIramal Group on Monday roped in Ganguly as the brand ambassador for ‘Polycrol’, its antacid brand.

Nandini Piramal, executive director, Piramal Enterprises Limited, said that they are pleased to have Sourav Ganguly as the brand ambassador of Polycrol. Ganguly, fondly known as ‘Maharaja’ in Eastern India, has been one of the world’s leading batsmen and a successful captain of the Indian cricket team. His association with Polycrol is a testament to their legacy brand’s strength and trustworthiness, she said.

Ganguly, on his part, said that Polycrol has been a household name in the East and has been a part of his family too, for many years now.
