Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone's Pathaan Trailer Dropped

The countdown to the release of Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham's highly anticipated 'Pathaan' trailer has begun! Pathaan trailer just dropped on January 10 at 11 AM. 

Announcing this news, King Khan took to social media on Monday and wrote, “Thank u for waiting….ab Pathaan ki mehfil mein aa jao….#PathaanTrailer out TOMORROW at 11 AM!” Pathaan marks SRK’s comeback to the big screen after the 2018 movie Zero. It is directed by Siddharth Anand and is backed by Yash Raj Films.

The launch comes just two weeks before the film's release worldwide on January 25.

Besides the trio, the film will also see Salman Khan in a cameo. In an epic crossover, the actor will play RAW agent Tiger from the 'Ek Tha Tiger' franchise.

The visually stunning trailer is a feast for big scale action entertainer lovers. It has stunning action set pieces that will wow you when you see the trailer. YRF always wanted to launch the trailer two weeks to the film’s release. They wanted to build intrigue around the film and create more anticipation and hysteria for the trailer. 

Pathaan has been making news and facing boycott calls after the release of its song Besharam Rang featuring Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh, which dropped on December 12. A sequence in the song shows Deepika wearing an orange swimsuit as she danced on the beach with Shah Rukh, which has been criticised by a section of people.

Directed by Siddharth Anand, Pathaan is the fourth installment in Yash Raj Films’ spy universe after Salman Khan-starrer Ek Tha Tiger (2012), Ali Abbas Zafar's directorial Tiger Zinda Hai (2017) and Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff starrer War (2019). 

According to reports, Aditya Chopra has been working to create the YRF’s spy universe to make the biggest franchise in India which includes big names like Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Hrithik Roshan, Katrina Kaif and others. A logo of YRF Spy Universe is making rounds on the internet, however, the official announcement and logo unveiling is yet to happen.
