The new addition to Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra’s family is keeping them in high spirits. The happy parents were spotted in front of an airport with son Viaan Kundra and baby Shamisha.
Shilpa and Raj became parents to the baby girl on February 15 via surrogacy. Now, after almost a month the proud parents have brought her home.
Shilpa Shetty was photographed in a long dress that flowed below her knees coupled with high heels. She wore sunglasses on to complete the look.
Shilpa held the baby in her arms while Raj Kundra was seen holding son Viaan’s hand. Both father and son decided to dress alike. The father and son wore white Tees teamed with blue jeans.
The happy family posed for the paparazzi for a long time. Shilpa was all smiles and kept waving at the camera before they stepped into their vehicle.
On February 21, on the occasion of Mahashivratri, Shilpa shared the good news of the baby’s arrival on social media by posting these words, “Our prayers have been answered with a miracle... With gratitude in our hearts, we are thrilled to announce the arrival of our little angel Samisha Shetty Kundra. Born: February 15, 2020. Junior SSK in the house.”
Baby Shamisha’s dainty little fingers could be seen clenching the mother’s finger in the cute picture.
In the Insta post-Shilpa explained the meaning of her daughter’s name. ‘Sa’ in Sanskrit means- to have while ‘Misha’ in Russian means- ‘someone like God.’ Shilpa requested everyone to send their love and blessings for Samisha. During an earlier interaction with Mumbai Mirror Shilpa revealed that she had that name in mind since she was 21.
Shilpa and Raj Kundra got married in 2009 while Viaan was born in 2012. Raj Kundra is an entrepreneur while Shilpa keeps herself engaged with TV shows and her fitness videos. She was known for her performance in movies like ‘Main Khiladi Tu Anari’, ‘Baazigar’, ‘Dhadkan’, ‘Life in a Metro’ so on and so forth. Now, with two kids at hand, we are sure that Shilpa and Raj have a lot of blessings to look forward to. We wish the couple happy parenting for the years to follow.
