Shocking Video Shows Speeding Car Ramming into 7 Pedestrians in a Busy Bangalore Footpath
The 9 second CCTV footage which is quite graphic shows that the car driver was driving at a very high speed. The incident occurred in HSR Layout in the southeast region of Bangalore at around 3 pm yesterday.
On Sunday afternoon on the busy streets of Bangalore a speeding white Mahindra Xylo rammed into 7 pedestrians who were eating and some of them walking in the footpath.
The car rammed into vehicles that were parked in the footpath first before ramming into people on the footpath which includes a young girl.

There was quite a large crowd outside Reddy’s restaurant at 14th cross HSR Layout, 7th phase at around 3 pm. The four-wheeler came from out of nowhere and rammed against people near the restaurant.
The video clearly shows people literally being thrown into the air before being pushed after they collided with the four-wheeler. From the video, it can be clearly ascertained that the pedestrians had no idea what happened to them. The incident took them by complete surprise.
The front part of the restaurant was also damaged.
After this freak accident, witnesses ran to the spot and rushed the victims to the hospital. They further pulled the driver out who goes by the name of Rajendra, 40, and thrashed him.
According to the police, the driver of the car was under the influence of alcohol. A case has been registered against the driver for drunken and dangerous driving.
He works for a travel agency and was on his way back home.
Five out of the seven people sustained minor injuries. They have been discharged after treatment. Two others identified as Gowtham and Shankar are serious according to the police.
