F1 racer, Lewis Hamilton leaves Mercedes after 12 long years. All set to join Ferrari in 2025 by preceding George Russel.
Iconic F1 racer, Lewis Hamilton leaves Mercedes after a cherishing race in Abu Dhabi. He is all set to join Ferrari and replace Carlos Sainz. The six-time title winner said, “Thank you for all the courage, determination, and passion, and for seeing and supporting me. What started as a leap of faith became a journey into the history books.”
After spending almost 12 years with Mercedes and winning all of the races majorly, it promoted great team dynamics. Hamilton will join Ferarri in 2025 with new dynamics while George Russel will be his successor.
After the last race in Abu Dhabi, Hamilton was seen performing his signature “Donuts” right after the pit line. He then got out of his vehicle and waved his hands to the fans one last time. His dedication towards the team and his car could be seen clearly when he got out of the car and patted his car.
Hamilton will turn 40 next year and is aiming for the power and strength that he showed in Mercedes. He made announcements of leaving the team in February, agreeing to the immense strain on the team and the relations with the team members.
Lewis had a 12-year-long relationship with the team with memories intertwined and achievements unfinished. However, with big responsibilities and dreams, Lewis only wishes good luck to the team and moves ahead with the new challenges and possibilities.
