SOLO: A Star Wars Story Released Its Trailer – Reveals Interesting Moments

Solo: A Star Wars Story, a Disney and Lucasfilm has released its trailer on the internet on Sunday and it looks fascinating and interesting. Alden Ehrenreich plays the young Han, the character made popular by Harrison Ford. Donald Glover, has donned the role of the cool Lando Calrissian.

The movie takes us on an adventure with Alden Ehrenreich as he comes in contact with Chewbacca and Lando. The Millenium Falcon happens to be in possession first. The trailer is action packed and is quite promising. The other actors who star in the movie are Emilia Clarke from Game of Thrones, Thandie Newton, Woody Harrelson from Hunger Games, Avengers actor, Paul Bettany and Warwick Davis from Star Wars.

This making of the movie had a shaky beginning as directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller left the movie three weeks before the filming could begin due to creative differences. Lucasfilms finally roped in Ron Howard to take over the direction of the film. From the looks of the trailer, it seems Ron has done a wonderful job setting up the whole stick up and the performance of the actors look brilliant. Woody Harrelson has been given importance in the trailer which shows a twist on the famous line that is featured in most of the Star War films-“I’ve got a bad feeling about this”. Harrelson portrays the role of a criminal named Beckett who also mentors Hans. Emilia plays the role of Han’s friend, Qi’ra.

Solo is an anthology kind of story, which doesn’t take place in the episodic chronology but they are stories within the Star Wars series. This is Lucasfilm’s second effort in pulling this type of a movie. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story was a story of the team stealing the plans for the Death Star which leads up to – A New Hope.

This trailer shows a strong Solo, however, Lando captures our attention and it won’t be a surprise if he steals the show and leaves the audience yearning for more. The trailer gives us a glimpse of some significant moments like Han’s first meeting with Lando and the first time he is on Millenium Falcon. Most likely the movie will let us know how Han gets hold of his blaster.  No doubt the trailer is wonderful as it tells without revealing much and in the bargain igniting our curiosity. The trailer also appears to reveal the prime villain, crime lord Dryden Vos played by Paul Bettany. There is also another character which happens to be Chewbacca’s interest who will obviously be killed.

The movie will have a grand premiere at the Cannes Film festival. The screening will take place on May 15, 2018, 10 days before its worldwide release which will be on May 25, 2018. Considering its stormy beginning, Ron Howard has done a wonderful job and will be completing the movie on time. Many thought its release will be delayed but it is not going to be so.
