Sonali Bendre Shares a Motivating Message on the Occasion of World Cancer Day

On the occasion of World Cancer Day on February 4, Sonali Bendre shared a powerful post about her long journey with Cancer. She said that we all dread the ‘C’ word. We fear it so much that we rather not talk about it and thus it was important to have a day where we pull out the band-aid and talk about the disease. She said that there’s more to Cancer than being emotional or weak. There’s more to Cancer than being called a fighter or a survivor.

She emphasized the fact that Cancer needs to be understood and one has to study it. Being emotional and weak was not going to help. One has to find out what works for you and most of all you have to be diligent about the treatment. It requires one to bring out the inner strength and believe that tomorrow will be a better day.

She concluded her post by saying that “Cancer is not about surviving each day but living it. Just taking it #OneDayAtATime makes it easier to #SwitchOnTheSunshine. #WorldCancerDay.”

Besides Sonali Bendre, Ayushmann Khurrana’s wife Tahira Kashyap, Arjun Rampal and Rahul Dev shared their own messages about on Cancer on World Cancer Day.

He took the news of his mother having Cancer with the right spirit which only goes to prove that he can handle things on his own.
