Startup Fires 100 Employees after A Mental Health And Stress Survey, Faces Backlash

A home salon company from Gurgaon has been negatively appraised on social media after firing more than 100 people through an email. This incident came to light when the HR manager of the company fired the employees after they had completed the mental health and stress survey. One of the employees claimed “What’s happening at YesMadam? First, you conduct a random survey and then fire us overnight because we’re feeling stressed. And not just me, 100 other people have been fired too."

According to the screenshot shared on social media, the human resource manager had asked the stressed employees to part ways as they are dedicated to fostering and nurturing a collaborative workspace. Thus, the employees who are feeling stressed by the work are being terminated and they will be receiving mail separately.

The email sparked a matter of debate on social media and many users were seen claiming different perspectives about the matter. One of the users claimed “So, recently a startup named YesMadam sent out a survey to team members on how stressed they are AND? Guess what fired the ones who had voted they are under extreme stress.”
