Stormy Daniels in Prison, Cries Conspiracy

Porn Star and alleged former girlfriend of US President Donald Trump, Stormy Daniels was arrested while she was performing at a strip club in Ohio on Thursday, though the arrest was short lived and she was released some hours later, after dismissing all charges against her. She and her lawyer stated that the whole drama of arrest and release was politically motivated.

The whole episode of arrest and release started on Wednesday night when four vice detectives associated with Columbus Police Department went to Siren, a strip club to investigate a complaint of alleged drug and prostitution activity. It was during the investigation in the club, that they reported that Daniels touched them inappropriately.

In the affidavits which the police filed, said that Stephanie Clifford pressed their faces with her chest and played vulgarly with some women in the audience. It was after the incident that the Columbus Police arrested Daniels and two other women.

She was then charged in three counts of illegal sexually oriented activity, and a misdemeanor, according to the arrest report. Immediately after the arrest of Daniels her lawyer Michael J. Avenatti, who is also a critic of US President Trump alleged, that the whole episode and drama is politically motivated, he said on the Twitter “This was a setup & politically motivated”.

He also said, “the charges against Clifford emerged from an allegation that while performing, she engaged in touching with customers who turned out to be undercover vice officers. So there are undercover vice officers that came to the club for the purpose of trying to get her to touch them so that they could then arrest her, which is ludicrous. My understanding is that a number of undercover officers were female, which was not unusual to my client, because a huge number of women are turning out to see her shows,” He said.

In less than 24 hours Stephanie Clifford was arrested, charged, bailed out as early next morning she was released from the Jackson Pike jail in Columbus after submitting a personal bond of $6,054 cash for bail. Her lawyer Michael J. Avenatti said his client is soon going to file a not guilty plea and is scheduled to appear in the court today.

On the other hand in a statement released by the Columbus police chief, Kim Jacobs, said, “one element of the law was missed in error and charges were subsequently dismissed. A mistake was made, and I accept full responsibility,” Chief Jacobs also said, “the motivations behind the officers’ actions will be reviewed internally.”

Stormy Daniels has time and again claimed that she was paid $130,000 shortly before the 2016 presidential election to keep quiet about her alleged sexual relationship with the US President Donald Trump. She is now trying to free herself from a non-disclosure agreement signed before the election, so that she can sue the President, in particular, as per a defamatory tweet by the US President. However, Donald Trump has denied all the allegations.
