Sushmita Sen Graces Rhea Chakraborty’s New Podcast Show ‘Chapter 2’ with Conversations on Life, People And Parenting
Rhea Chakraborty launches her podcast "Chapter 2," celebrating new beginnings, with Sushmita Sen as the first guest. They discuss life, change, parenting, and overcoming adversity.
Indian former actress and VJ, Rhea Chakraborty, has started a new Podcast show called Chapter 2. The name Chapter 2 was a fitting choice for her because it had a great deal to do with her own life experiences. The idea behind creating this podcast show was to celebrate change. She believes that she has reached a new chapter in her life and she wants to celebrate this change with others who have reached this stage. The show is all about starting afresh!
“Everybody knows my 'chapter one' or assumes that they know it. I did go through a lot of phases of feeling different emotions, being different versions of myself. Finally, I am feeling more me, but a newer version, like a rebirth. And I want to celebrate that with anyone who has a "chapter two". I want to say that it is okay to have a chapter two, to start again, to move on in life. I want to celebrate change”, Rhea explained.
The first guest who got the opportunity to grace Chapter 2 was none other than the outspoken bollywood star Sushmita Sen. The former Miss Universe had some wonderful insights to share on a variety of topics like motherhood, parenting, career, men, life and change. Sushmita Sen spoke about change and how it is essential to prevent monotony in life.
Rhea explained that people hated the “image” they had created in their minds about her but not the real her. For the unversed, Rhea was arrested in 2020 in connection with the Sushant Singh Rajput case although she was later released. She attracted a lot of criticism during that period. Adding to the conversation, Sushmita reiterated, “People don’t hate people, people hate the idea of a person.” Sushmita cheered for Rhea's victorious win in the agonising 2020 Sushant Singh’s case.
Coming to Sushmita Sen, the actress explained that laws had to change, when she decided to adopt her two girls. The actress underscored that it is important to have both a father and mother to have a balanced childhood, however, in her case, since the children didn’t have a father, they didn’t miss one. Fathers are beautiful, when they can play their roles, said the actress.
Sushmita added that men make great friends, however, they need to be more empathetic. One of her inspiring pearls of wisdom is that one should not add to the noise of the world, but rather speak your mind when it’s essential. Both the women celebrated and cheered for one another as the conversation between them ended on a positive note on episode 1 of Chapter 2.
