Taylor Swift's Upcoming Album 'The Life of a Showgirl' Releases Soon, and Swifties Can't Keep Calm
Taylor Swift's new album The Life of a Showgirl drops on October 3, and it's basically her behind-the-scenes diary from the European leg of the 'Eras Tour.'
Swifties went into frenzy mode after learning about Taylor Swift’s twelfth studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, announced on the New Heights podcast.
This marks the first time Taylor Swift has appeared on her boyfriend Travis Kelce’s podcast channel, co-hosted by his brother Jason Kelce.
The aesthetic cover of the album is drawing attention, as it’s said to be one of her boldest to date.
Draped in a jeweled ensemble, the singer can be seen submerged in water, with her face and wrists above the surface.
The album is set to release on October 3.
Surprisingly, Swift wrote the album during the European leg of the Eras Tour. It contains twelve songs.
There’s speculation that Sabrina Carpenter may feature on one of the tracks.
Taylor teamed up once again with Max Martin and Shellback, the powerhouse producers behind Red, 1989, and Reputation.
‘The Life of a Showgirl’ is all about behind-the- scene reflections of the global performer. It plans to capture her emotional highs, lows, larger than life moments, vulnerable to most fearless ones.
Swift called the album “infectiously joyful, wild, and dramatic,” inspired by the emotional rollercoaster of her European tour.
