The Grammy Awards 2025: Bruno Mars & Lady Gaga Pay Tribute to Los Angeles Wildfire Victims at the 67th Grammy Awards

Pop icons Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars delivered heartfelt performances, dedicating a rendition to the victims of the Los Angeles wildfire, at the Grammy Awards held at Crypto.com Arena, Los Angeles. 

The talented duo sang a rendition of The Mamas and The Papas’ classic ‘California Dreamin.’

Their performance was followed by a heart-touching montage that showed the degree of destruction caused by the wildfire in Los Angeles earlier in January. 

Unlike their usual lively performance, this time the stage performance took a somber tone, keeping the background theme in mind. 

Recently, Gaga performed at the FireAid benefit concert at Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California, on January 30th. After the concert, she took to Instagram and wrote, “It was such an honor to sing @FireAidLA for you during this incredibly challenging time. Thank you for having me, and thank you to everyone who donated. I love you CALIFORNIA, we’ll keep moving forward.”

Bruno and Gaga won the Best Pop Duo at the Grammys for their chart-topping collaboration called ‘Die With A Smile.’ 

Following their win, they delivered speeches expressing their deep gratitude. Both the artists twinned in black ensembles. 

Speaking of working with Gaga, Bruno said in his speech, “I’m so honoured to be a part of this song with you. I’m so honoured to have a small part in your giant musical legacy, and I really, truly believe that God gave us the song to sing together,” adding, “So thank you so much.”

Gaga, in turn, expressed her appreciation for her co-artist Bruno Mars. “Bruno, you are an incredible human being. You’re a musician for the ages. I don’t know music without Bruno.”

Their last performance together at the Grammys was in 2022. 

The Recording Academy, which hosts the event, is working to raise funds for the wildfire relief efforts and recognize the efforts of first responders, and celebrate music.
