~Raj Kundra Arrested in Mumbai~

Raj Kundra made headlines on 18th July after being arrested by Mumbai police in a pornography case. The businessman, who is married to Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty, has been named the 'most important plotter' in the case. Shortly after his arrest, Raj Kundra was rushed to JJ Hospital by the Property Cell of Mumbai Police's Crime Branch. He was later taken to the office of the Mumbai Police Commissioner and spent the night in the cell of the Crime Branch, Mumbai. According to a TOI report, Raj Kundra's name in the investigation came after the property cell found the involvement of a UK company, Kenrin, and police arrested its chief executive, Umesh Kamat. He was an employee of Raj Kundra and was reportedly accused of uploading at least eight “pornographic” videos shot by Gehna Vasisth on a social media platform. According to the TOI, police suspect Raj Kundra was involved in Kenrin.

~Danish Siddiqui, Reuters Chief Photographer, Killed in Afghanistan~

Danish Siddiqui, an award-winning photographer, was killed on July 16 while discussing a dispute between Afghan security forces and Taliban fighters near the border crossing with Pakistan. Afghan special forces fighting to retrieve the Spin Boldak supermarket in Afghanistan's Kandahar region when Siddiqui and a senior Afghan official were killed in what Afghan officials described as a Taliban shooting. Earlier this week, Siddiqui had been joined by Afghan special forces in Kandahar to deal with conflicts in the region. Siddiqui told Reuters he had been hit by an explosive device in his arm as he reported the incident. He was treated and recovered when Taliban militants withdrew from the battlefield at Spin Boldak.

~India’s Neeraj Chopra Wins Historic Gold Medal in Men’s Javelin Throw Event~

India's Neeraj Chopra won a gold medal in the men's javelin thrower by throwing 87.58m in his second attempt. Neeraj Chopra has made history by becoming the second Indian to win individual gold medals at the Olympics 2021 after shooter Abhinav Bindra. Neeraj is the first Indian in more than 120 years, and is the first athlete from independent India, to win an Olympic medal in training and numeracy. Neeraj won a gold medal in the men's javelin throwing event by throwing 87.58m in his second attempt. Neeraj Chopra's gold made India's number seven medals at the Tokyo Olympics - the best of all, improving the figures for six medals at the 2012 London Olympics. Chopra also became the sixth Indian athlete to win a medal in Tokyo 2020 joining Mirabai Chanu who lifts weights. , shuttler PV Sindhu, boxer Lovlina Borgohain, wrestler Ravi Kumar Dahiya and Bajrang Punia.

~Taliban Enters Afghan Presidential Palace after Ghani Flees~

~Actor Sidharth Shukla Dies of Heart Attack at 40~

Bigg Boss 13 winner, actor and model Sidharth Shukla died of a heart attack on 2 September,2021. Officials at Mumbai Cooper Hospital said the 40-year-old actor was admitted to hospital dead. Although the details will be known in due course, it is believed that heart disease is the cause of death. After an autopsy, a hospital psychiatrist said the cause of Shukla's death was “inconclusive”. Shukla began his career in showbiz as an example and made her debut with a leading role in the television drama "Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na". He later appeared in shows such as "Jaane Pehchaane Se Yeh Ajnabi", "Love U Zindagi" but it was "Balika Vadhu" that made him famous. ~Aryan Khan Drugs Case~

Aryan Khan, the son of Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan, was arrested in connection with a Mumbai drug case in early October. Several court cases, multiple incidents and 26 days in custody later, the Bombay High Court granted him bail on October 28. He was finally released from prison on October 30, during his father's birthday. Aryan Khan was arrested on October 3 in connection with a drug attack by the Narcotics Control Bureau. With the help of local director Sameer Wankhede, the NCB's Mumbai unit raided a ship off the coast. Aryan Khan, along with a few others, was arrested and charged with burglary and conspiracy, among other things. From October 3 onwards, Aryan Khan has been circling the courts in Mumbai seeking bail. Like all good film scripts, the story also had a separate episode that grew to the point where NCB's Sameer Wankhede went under the scandal due to allegations of fraud in the case. After a few days of court cases focusing on drug use and administration, the Bombay High Court granted Aryan Khan bail on October 28.

~Superstar Puneeth Rajkumar’s Sudden Death~

Kannada star Puneeth Rajkumar, best known for his work on films such as 'Power' and 'Yuvarathnaa', died of a heart attack. He was 46 years old. His death shocked many of his fans and the recent death of a celebrity. According to the latest reports, the 46-year-old Kannada actor was rushed to Vikram Hospital in Bangalore (October 29), where he was under intensive care in the ICU by a medical team.
