The shooting of Joker: Folie a Deux has finally concluded. This news was announced by none other than the director of the movie- Todd Phillips. 

Todd Philips took to his Instagram account and shared the photographs of two main characters of the film Harley Quinn (Lady Gaga) and The Joker (Joaquin Phoenix). 

He captioned the pictures, “That’s a wrap. Thanks to these two (+ the entire cast) and the BEST crew that the film industry has to offer. From top to bottom.”

“Gonna crawl into a cave now (edit room) and put it all together,” the caption further reads.

Even Lady Gaga announced the conclusion of her shooting. She wrote, “That’s a wrap ❤️‍🔥 🎬🃏 X, Harleen.” 

Lady Gaga will be playing Harley Quinn- the former psychiatrist turned psychotic who falls in love with the Joker. 

Harley’s messy and smeared make-up look and Arthur Fleck’s melancholic expressions in the posters is bound to grab your attention. 

Some of the pictures of the actors on the sets were leaked online and the netizens can’t get enough of Arthur and Harley. The pictures have gone viral and give us glimpses of the movie.

The film also features Brendan Gleeson, Catherine Keener, Jacob Lofland and Harry Lawtey. Joker: Folie à Deux is the sequel to 2019’s psychological thriller film Joker and is said to be a musical. The plot of the movie is still unknown. The shooting for the film took place in and around New York City. 

Joaquin Phoenix was critically praised for his role as the Joker in the previous 2019 sequel. He even won the Oscar for best actor at the 92nd Academy Awards for his flawless performance. 

The photographs from the sets have aroused curiosity among movie buffs about the film. Joker: Folie a Deux will hit silver screens next year on 4 October.
