Vanessa Trump Files for a Divorce from Donald Trump Junior

On Thursday, Vanessa Trump filed for a divorce from Donald Trump Jr. after more than twelve years of marriage. They got married on November 12, 2005 at Mar-a-Lago, the Trump’s club in Florida. The couple lived in Midtown Manhattan during the week and spent the weekends in the Catskills. The couple have five children.

The Joint Statement

“After 12 years of marriage, we have decided to go our separate ways.  We will always have tremendous respect for each other and our families. We have five beautiful children together and they remain our top priority. We ask for your privacy during this time,” the couple said in a joint statement. The couple were married ten months after Donald Trump tied the knot with Melania Knauss.

Donald Trump Jr. often tweeted about his wife and family. In an interview with Times, Trump Jr. stated that a romantic evening with his wife included a dinner and perhaps a movie. President Donald Trump had got the couple introduced at a fashion show.

Last month, Vanessa even experienced an anthrax scare when she opened an envelope containing a white powdery substance. However later it was confirmed that the substance was cornstarch. Donald Trump Jr. even tweeted about it on twitter, defining the act as sickening.

It’s being speculated that Junior Trump’s affair with Danity Kane singer Aubrey O’Day is said to be one of the reasons for their divorce. A source told page 6 that the problems in their marriage arose even before the affair began. “I think his marriage to Vanessa was over long before Aubrey came along,” the source said.

Vanessa Trump attended the Dwight school on the Upper West where she was known to be a‘Tennis Star.’ She has been modeling since childhood and she was signed by Wilhelmina agency. Her mother, Bonnie Haydon ran a modelling agency too. According to a friend Shawn Modell, Vanessa had a carefree attitude with blond hair and an athletic build. She usually wore jeans. Vanessa enjoyed the company and intimacy of a group of close friends. In 2003, Vanessa appeared in the movie ‘Something’s Gotta Give.’ She has also dated Hollywood Actor Leonardo Dicaprio.
